Communal Areas
There are three lounges where Residents can relax, watch TV or play games and generally socialise.

Safety
The home is equipped with fire alarms and nurse call systems which are both serviced quarterly. All staff receive regular fire training and the ramps on both sides of the home make it fully accessible for wheel chair users.
General Practitioner
Residents are encouraged to keep their own GP. If not they can be registered with our own group local GPs.
Laundry
The home operates its own “in-house” laundry and is happy to provide this service to all Residents. All items of clothing must be marked clearly with the Resident’s name. Unfortunately, the home cannot accept any responsibility for specialist cleaning.
|
Personal Services
Physiotherapists, dentists, opticians and chiropodists visit the home regularly. The home endeavours to meet any additional need indicated by the Resident’s assessment.
The hairdresser visits the home weekly. The cost of this service is not included in the fees and will be invoiced separately.
Extra services such as, daily newspapers and magazines can be easily arranged and will be paid for by the Resident. |
|
Social Interest
As part of the assessment process Residents and their representatives are encouraged to share as much information as possible about the Resident’s social, cultural and leisure interests as a basis for helping them during their period of residence in the home.
|
Activities
A full programme of activities, scheduled by the activities co-ordinator and based upon the interests of the Resident, is offered to all who wish to join in.
These include Reminiscence, Aromatherapy, Movement to Music, Live Musical Entertainment, Summer Fete and Barbecue, Halloween Party, Bonfire Night Fireworks and Supper, Christmas Carol Concert, Christmas Party and Easter Hat Parade and Party.
